Director

With over 20 years' experience in evaluation and corporate social responsibility, Emery's expertise is focused on the evaluation of initiatives undertaken in complex environments.

After a brief career in UN humanitarian missions, he became a consultant in 1994, working for Governments, the UN and NGOs, and progressively developing services for the private sector. He delivered 84 evaluations and 5 social impact assessments.

 

Founder in 1998 of Channel Research, a leading evaluation consultancy with a final turnover of USD 5M, which he sold to Palladium in April 2014.

 

Emery is a graduate of Yale University and London School of Economics, and is a French citizen.

Chief Technical Officer

George is responsible for designing Sirius’ internal systems and partnering with firms in source and destination countries. His interest in migrant labor comes from his previous career as a humanitarian aid worker in the Middle East and in Nepal, where he saw the outsized importance of migrant labor remittances compared to the humanitarian aid system, in enabling poor people to recover from disasters. Prior to his work in Sirius, George worked for over a decade as a monitoring and evaluation expert for humanitarian organizations including Mercy Corps and USAID. George is based in the United States.
