The Sirius Advantage
Employers who partner with us get workers who are the most qualified and with the right attitude, who are keen to challenge themselves.
By only accepting workers who are debt-free, and treating workers with dignity, companies protect themselves from legal and reputational liability, while improving their bottom line.
The Sirius Model
Sirius charges a finder’s fee to employers, and refuses to charge any fees to our recruits. This policy removes worker debt, and its toxic effects, from an employer’s supply chain.
Sirius currently supplies workers in the hospitality, construction, and energy industries.
In source countries, we partner with reputable vocational schools and advocates for safe migration, and we refer our recruits to these partners. They provide quality training and protect recruits from paying fees. Our recruits are enthusiastic for the opportunity to work abroad, without the burden of debt and isolation. Sirius is thus able to provide a large number of debt-free, trained, motivated workers to our partners.
We partner with employers who are ready to commit to treating their workers with dignity. Employers commit to:
- Presenting employees with a contract prior to hiring them, in a language they can understand, and following the terms of that contract;
- Including terms and conditions compliant with applicable laws of the destination country and detailing essential information regarding wages, job description, etc.;
- Allowing employees custody of passports and travel documents.
We prefer sustained engagement with our partners. The ethical recruiting model is different from what employers are used to, and thus it requires a move away from business as usual. We work with employers, staff, and subcontractors to identify and solve problems, create an effective process, and ensure a smooth transition.
